Ojemba in Italy 2015

For 2015, Ojemba will explore Italy, a country with very interesting history, tradition and culture. Ojemba will start in Venice, the city of canals and gondolas; then to Florence, the cradle of the renaissance and home of the Medici; and end in the eternal city, Rome, where we will spend the Easter week. This is happening as the dollar is at its strongest against the Euro.  Perfect timing on that front. Spending the Easter in Rome, with the ticket to the Easter Mass at the Basilica of St. Peter, makes this even sweeter.

It has been a while since Ojemba got on the road. The last trip was cut short by the sudden departure of the Nwokocha patriarch, beloved Dee Peter.

For this trip, Ojemba is joined by the newest member of the Nwokocha family, Chimdi Peter. What a joy!

This is Ojemba's first spring trip, and the first scheduled to last less than a month. It feels good! The kids packed, and unpacked; then repacked. They got books from the school library on Italy. Back in our elements.  Chimdi is oblivious to what is happening around him...that is fine. His siblings will explain the pictures and the trips to him when he is old enough to understand.
